Knowledge Graph: Projects and Opportunities

Last updated: June 2, 2026

The Projects and Opportunities section of the Knowledge Graph serves as your centralized workspace for tracking both active pursuits and confirmed project work. With powerful search and filtering tools, customizable views, bulk actions, and detailed profile pages, you can manage your firm’s pipeline and project portfolio in a single streamlined interface.

Projects vs Opportunities

Projects and Opportunities represent different stages of work within Kantiv. Opportunities capture potential work that has not yet been awarded, including leads, active RFPs, and submitted proposals. These are tracked to support business development and monitor requirements, deadlines, and pipeline activity.

Projects represent confirmed, awarded work that is either in progress or completed. They include structured details such as project descriptions, locations, costs, teams, clients, and status. Because Projects reflect real, delivered work, they can be used for marketing materials, project sheets, and resumes.

In Kantiv, all work begins as an Opportunity. When its status is updated to Won, In Progress, or Completed, it automatically moves to Projects and becomes part of your firm’s project portfolio. If it remains a Lead, Submitted, or Lost, it stays in Opportunities. This keeps your pipeline and your historical project experience clearly organized without requiring duplicate entries.

Projects and Opportunities: Main Page

The Projects and Opportunities tables serve as your central hub for viewing, organizing, and managing your work. By default, profiles are displayed alphabetically (A–Z). Each row displays the name, status, and associated properties and tags.

Project and Opportunity Tags

Tags can be applied and updated directly from the graph without opening individual Project and Opportunity profiles. Clicking a tag field in the table will display available options within that tag group. Selecting a tag immediately applies it to the profile. This allows you to quickly categorize and organize your Projects and Opportunities at scale.

Search and Filters

To create a Quick Filter:

  1. Apply your desired filters.

  2. Click Save.
